Experiment: color, lighting, and other variables

Goal: sketches of prompts to control color, lighting, mood, camera and most important, character. 

I used a few different models and got a few interesting results. Still lots to learn.

More light and color

  1.     Hue: Tint or gradation of color. Sometimes use with shade and overtone. In the Munsell Color System, the 5 hues are red, yellow, green, blue and purple.
  2.     Saturation: How much of a color is present. sometimes chroma used interchangeably with saturation, but it is technically a scale used by the Munsell Color System to compare the brilliance of different colors.  “saturated and “unsaturated” on image results.
  3.     Luminescence: The amount of light emitted over the area of a surface. Sometimes used with lightness or brilliance. “bright lighting” and “dark lighting”.
  4.     Tone: The effect in painting of light and shade together with color. “warm” and “cool”.
  5.     Contrast: Dissimilarity between elements in an images; can apply to color, light and texture.  “high contrast” and “low contrast”.
